Seriously, it’s 2019. Women of color are still being ostracized for wearing their natural hair and it impacts the next generation. The disgrace.
Brittany Noble-Jones, a former anchor for WJTV was fired after her news director said her natural hair was “unprofessional” and compared it to “him wearing a baseball hat to go to the grocery store.”
